Condolence From: Pam Douglas

Condolence: My father, Larry Hughes and I first met Maxine on Tuesday, January 17th, 2017. We had just admitted my mother the day before and had come to visit her during lunch time. We sat at Maxine's table and she offered to get my mom something to drink. Maxine wheeled her chair around and went straight to the drink machine and brought my mom some orange juice. We sat with Maxine again on Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday, she again offered to get my mom a glass of tea. As we left the dining room my father knelt next to Maxine and thanked her for being so kind to my mom and told her he loved her. She said I love you too. I just wanted you to know that we did love her, and we're so grateful for the short time we were able to know her.
