Obituary for Mary Driskill

Services for Mary Driskill, 71, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2015, at Fruitvale Church of Christ with Carl McCann and Matt Driskill officiating.
Interment will be 3 p.m., Friday at Parker Cemetery, Grapevine.
Mrs. Driskill passed away November 11, 2015, at her home in Fruitvale. She was born September 1, 1944, in Dallas to Delbert Dewey & Mildred Vivian Cline Cox. She spent her early years in Bedford, before moving to Fruitvale 43 years ago, where she was a member of Fruitvale Church of Christ. She taught bible class most of her life and was an avid Lady Cat Fan (Fruitvale Bobcats). She also owned/operated Grand Saline Hardware-Furniture-Appliance for 20 years. Mrs. Driskill was preceded in death by his parents; husband of 43 years, Joe Driskill; and infant brother.
Survivors include her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Tim & Karen Driskill of Luther, OK and Rob & Melanie Driskill of Fruitvale; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Don Maxfield of Grand Saline; brother & sister-in-law, Donald & Betty Cox of Mena, AR; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce & Jim Driskill of Fruitvale; brother-in-law, Larry & Gayle Driskill of Argyle; sister-in-law, Carolyn & Freddie Smith of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Justin & Doniell Maxfield, Ryan & Allison Maxfield, Staci & Daniel Maloney, Heather & Jason Perry, Ben Cox, Emily Driskill and Jordan Driskill; six great-grandchildren, Lillieanna Maxfield, Jack Maxfield, Easton Maxfield, Baby Maxfield (on the way), Jameson Perry and Eleanor Maloney; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Maxfield, Ryan Maxfield, Ben Cox, Jordan Driskill, Dustin Duke and Chris Duke.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders & Deacons of Fruitvale Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mary Driskill to the American Cancer Society and Van Zandt County Relay for Life.
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
