Obituary for Ray Chandler
Services for Mr. Ray Chandler, 64, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, March 27, 2023, at Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Chandler passed away March 23, 2023, in Tyler. He was born December 28, 1958, in Grand Saline, to James Edward & Betty Morris Chandler. Ray had spent most of his life in Grand Saline and worked in the oil field. He was a member of The Lord’s House in Tyler. Ray is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hurt; and father, James Edward “J.E.” Chandler.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Chandler; daughter, Sarah Duke of Grand Saline; four brothers, Dennis Chandler of Bullard, Vincent Chandler of Van, Michel Chandler of Grand Saline, and Jason Chandler of Grand Saline; sister, Anita Voyles and husband Richard of Mineola; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Chandler, Vincent Chandler, Jason Chandler, Michel Chandler, Shane Voyles, and Richard Voyles.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
