Graveside services for Danita Lois Thomas Rogers, 58, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 3 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline, with Dr. Kelly Burton officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Rogers passed away March 21, 2023, in Tyler. She was born December 3, 1964, in Memphis, TN, to William Ira and Ollie Babbs Galyean Thomas. Danita was a member of First Baptist Church of Alba, and had lived the last 7 years in Grand Saline. She loved sewing, crafting, and scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her two sons, Bailey Rogers of Los Angeles, CA, and Branson Rogers and wife Nicole of Austin; two brothers, David Thomas and wife Lisa of Denton and John Thomas and wife Beth of Olathe, KS, sister, Beth Walcik and husband Roger of Gilmer; granddaughter, Camila Rogers; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church Alba, Building Fund, 219 Holley St. #200, Alba, Texas 75410.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
