Obituary for Marilyn J. Carter
A Memorial service for Marilyn Carter will be held by the family 2 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Highland Baptist Church, Wills Point, with Bro. Robert Brown officiating.
Marilyn Joyce Carter, 64, of Grand Saline, passed away March 15, 2023, at her home. She was born April 13, 1958, in Wills Point, to Myrlen & Peggy Daugherty Caldwell. She has lived in Grand Saline for the last 16 years and retired as a truck driver. Marilyn enjoyed watching movies, collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, and yardwork, but especially loved her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James Carter.
Survivors include her brother, Haskell Caldwell of Fruitvale; two sisters, Shannon Alcalan and husband Pete of Fruitvale, and Kandy Crow of Fruitvale; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
