Obituary for Jackie Aden Boyer
Services for Jackie Aden Boyer, 75, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Bull Creek Cowboy Church, Lone Oak, with Jeff Jackson officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Interment will follow in Humboldt Cemetery, Campbell.
Mr. Boyer passed away February 25, 2023, in Dallas. He was born October 27, 1947, in Greenville to Aden Andrew and Iza Pearl Pilcher Boyer. Jackie lived all his life in the Lone Oak area. He retired from L3 Communications and it’s legacy companies with more than 35 years of service. On October 31, 2004, he married Kathie Darline Delcore in Lone Oak. He was a member of the UAW Local #967. Jackie was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed participating in and watching dirt track racing. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Peggy Jo Bumpus.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Kathie Boyer of Lone Oak; two sons, Tony Boyer and wife Dedi of Greenville and Tommy Boyer and wife Tracey of Lone Oak; step-daughter, Charaye Dickson and husband Earl of Dermott, AR; five grandchildren, Aden, Trevor, Kannon, Mikayla, and Maya; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Aden Boyer, Trevor Boyer, Kannon Boyer, Cody Boyer, Dallas Delcore, and Jon Delcore.
Honorary pallbearers are Terry Carpenter, Jason Dale, Bubba Isenburg, and Jeremy Colvin.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the church.
