Graveside services for Vicki Nicholas, 68, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2023, at Sand Hill Cemetery, Gilmer, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Nicholas passed away December 30, 2022, at her residence in Grand Saline. She was born November 16, 1954, in Dallas, to Vernon Wayne and Louise Ann Pickard Green. Vicki was baptized into the Baptist faith and lived most of her life in Gun Barrel City, before moving to Grand Saline in 2003. On July 11, 2007, she married John Nicholas in Grand Saline. She worked for many years as an LVN in several East Texas nursing homes. Mrs. Nicholas was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, John Nicholas of Grand Saline; three sons, Joseph “Joe” Anderson of Miami, Florida, Michael C. Price of Oregon, and David Price of Emory; daughter, Christy Belknap of Santa Clarita, California; brother, James Green of Tyler; sister, Carolyn Green of Tyler; granddaughter, Lilly Price; stepson, Andrew Nicholas of Jacksonville, Florida; stepdaughter, Helen Nicholas of Charleston, South Carolina; and numerous other relatives and friends.
