Services for Marion Joann Beauchamp Fisher, 88, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Chaplain Chase Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher passed away December 8, 2022, at her home in Grand Saline. She was born February 18, 1934, in Lubbock, to Francis Marion and Undyne Angie Beebe Fisher. Joann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had lived the last 57 years in Grand Saline and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Grand Saline, where she played the piano for over 50 years. She mastered the piano at an early age, playing on the radio for her father’s radio ministry and continued playing all her life. Joann also started the MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) in Grand Saline many years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 65 years, Billy Joe Fisher.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Joe Fisher and wife Marsha of Trenton and Jonathan Dale Fisher and wife Dana of Grand Saline; two daughters, Patricia Ann Tomlin and husband Joel of Scappoose, OR, and Karen Kay Heath and husband Phillip of Flint; sister, Kathy Tinsley of Tyler; four grandchildren, Greg Heath, Hannah Fisher, Lindsey Tomlin, and Taylor Tomlin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
