Obituary for Shirley June Alexander
Services for Shirley June Alexander, 86, of Alba, are scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, with Marlon Alexander officiating.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Ms. Alexander passed away November 15, 2022, in Tyler. She was born November 27, 1935, in Rains County, to Ben and Marzee Almeda Parrish Alexander. Shirley had lived in the Alba area since 1946 and was a member of Alba Church of Christ. She worked as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 26 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Alexander and infant brother, Ronald Alexander.
Survivors include four nieces and nephews, Barbara Miller of Alba, Desmond Wayde and Sharon Alexander of Sulphur Springs, Kimberley Green of Quitman, and Benjamin and Sandra Alexander of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Miller, Jason Miller, Jeremy Green, Nicholas Green, Maxx Davis, and Angel Flores Green.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
