Obituary for Jerry Dale Armstrong, Sr.
Services for Jerry Dale Armstrong, Sr., 84, of Seagoville, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Chaplain Robert Stovall officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Armstrong passed away November 16, 2022, at his home in Seagoville. He was born September 25, 1938, in Fruitvale to James Otha & Dewene Ellis Armstrong. Jerry has owned/operated AAA Truck Parts since 1976. He is preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Yvonne Wibking Armstrong; his wife of 28 years, Shirley Ann Armstrong; infant daughter, Kimberly Armstrong; brother, Danny Otha Armstrong; sister, Vicki Armstrong; and daughter-in-law, Willie Christine “Chris” Armstrong.
Survivors include his two sons, James Russell “Jimmy” Armstrong of Tool, and Jerry Armstrong Jr. and wife Kathy of Seagoville; three daughters, Diana Armstrong of Tool, Mary Ann Shafer of Mabank, and Pamela Sue Koop and husband Keith of Caddo Mills; sister, Ramona Armstrong of Dallas; thirteen grandchildren, Natasha Thompson, Rachel Hurst, Zacheriah Armstrong, Angie Busbee, Gordon Armstrong, Brian Palmer, Monica Rosebrock, Von Rosebrock, Tommy Armstrong, Luke Shafer, Julie Shafer, Chris Armstrong, and Jeremy Armstrong ; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Armstrong, Jeremy Armstrong, Brian Palmer, Von Rosebrock, Tommy Armstrong, Luke Shafer, Zack Armstrong, and Rusty Armstrong.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, at the funeral home.
