Obituary for Willie Christine "Chris" Armstrong (Clark)

Services for Mrs. Willie Christine “Chris” Clark Armstrong, 65, of Tool, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, November16, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Mrs. Armstrong passed away November 11, 2022, at her home. She was born February 22, 1957, in Granbury, to Jim & Geneva Jones Clark. Chris spent most of her life in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area before moving to Tool about 16 years ago. She had worked as a cashier and was also a team driver with her husband “Jimmy” for five years. Chris enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ross Clark, Odessa Clark, Phil Clark, and Pete Clark; and sister, Lillie Mae Morgan.

Survivors include her husband Jimmy Armstrong of Tool; two sons, Zacheriah James Armstrong of Wills Point and Gordon Russell “Rusty” Armstrong of Tool; five daughters, Kandi Ausmus and husband Mickey of Sawyer, OK, Kathy Walton and husband Tyrell of Idaho, Rachel Janine Hurst and husband Dwayne of Gun Barrel City, Angie Lou Busbee and husband Ryan of Heath, and Natasha Mozelle Thompson and husband David of Rockwall; two sisters, Barbara Whitworth and husband Wallace of Denton, and Deanna Davis and husband Mike of Azle; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; father-in-law, Jerry D. Armstrong, Sr. of Seagoville; brother-in-law, Jerry D. Armstrong, Jr. of Combine; three sisters-in-law, Diana M. Armstrong of Tool, Maryanne Shafer of Mabank, and Pamela Sue Koop of Caddo Mills; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gordon Russell “Rusty” Armstrong, Diana Armstrong, Von Rosebrock, Dwayne Hurst, Luke Shafer, and Brian Palmer.

The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
