Obituary for Larry Suits
Graveside services for Mr. Larry Suits, 71, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Hooker Cemetery, with Bro. C.J. Duffy officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Mr. Suits passed away October 30, 2022, at his home. He was born September 12, 1951, in Greenville, to Floyd & Emma Alene Crabtree Suits. He spent most of his life in Lone Oak, before moving to Sulphur Springs about 20 years ago. Larry worked for Ocean Spray. He married Patricia Ann Fouse, in 2007. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tommy Suits, and Joe “Hezzie” Suits; and sister, Sue Hale.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Suits of Sulphur Springs; son, Kyle Suits of Dallas, daughter, Sonya Pope and husband Chad of Austin; step-son, Kevin Penson of Brownsville; two step-daughters, Stephanie Booth of Copper, and Wendy Speight and husband Steve of Commerce; brother, Pete Suits and wife Sandra of Point; half-brother, William Powell of Lone Oak; sister, Betty Burns of Sulphur Springs; grandchild, Harper Pope; four step-grandchildren, Katie, Peyton, Kelsey, and Neeley; two step-great-grandchildren, Kenley, and Lux; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
