Obituary for Carrol Waddill
Services for Mr. Carrol Waddill, 85, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home with Don Kirkpatrick and Bro. Jonathan Leach officiating.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mr. Waddill passed away October 17, 2022, in Grand Saline. He was born September 19, 1937, in Grand Saline to Joe Edwin & Edna Parker Waddill. He spent all his life in Grand Saline where he graduated from Grand Saline High School, Class of 1956. Carrol retired from Morton Salt Co. after 43 years of service and had served on the Creagleville Cemetery, Board of Directors, for many years. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Edgewood. Mr. Waddill is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patty Joe Collins; and son-in-law, Johnny Hill.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Janey Waddill of Grand Saline; two daughters, Sandy Hill of Grand Saline, and Kathy Joyce and husband James Joyce III of The Colony; four grandchildren, Johnny Hill and wife Jennifer, Stephen Hill and wife Whitley, Katelyn Sepmoree, and James Joyce IV; four great-grandchildren, Ayden Hill, Paisley Hill, Ethan Hill, and Beckett Hill; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Hill, Stephen Hill, Katelyn Sepmoree, Jimmy Woods, Tim Crocker, and Don Yarbrough.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Gothard, James Joyce IV, Butch Grier, and James Joyce III.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
