Obituary for Donald Gale "Don" Pinson

Memorial services for Donald “Don” Gale Pinson, 81, of Lindale, formerly of Alba, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Lewis Pollard officiating.

Mr. Pinson passed away August 7, 2022, in Lindale. He was born November 25, 1940, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Ester Coley and Cella May Trigleth Pinson. Don was in sales all his working life. Whether he was managing a department store, selling handbags across several states or many other sales occupations, he was always abundantly successful. He was a master deal maker. He loved family reunions and getting together with loved ones. Don loved the Lord and always shared his faith with others. On October 13, 2013, he married Rosa Milinda Upchurch in Mineola. He lived in Lindale for the last nine years and was a member of Grace Community Church, Lindale. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Doyal Pinson, Lawson Pinson, and J.L. Pinson; sisters, Vina Ramsey, Ester Ladean Pinson, Margaret Lamb, Doris Talkington, Opal Heinz, Colleen Nichols, and Patsy Dale Horton; great-grandson, Jacob Casson Cooper; and stepson, Jade Lee.

Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Milinda Pinson of Lindale; two sons, Monty Pinson and wife Mary of Conroe and Terry Don Pinson and wife Phyllis of Sulphur Springs; bonus son, Justin Lee of Keller; two daughters, Rhonda Williams and husband Kevin of Alba and Paula Pugh and husband Bob of Emory; bonus daughter, Tori Starr and husband Cole of Houston and Brenna Thompson and husband Landon of Lindale; half-brother, Johnny Wayne Garms of Oklahoma; sister, Jana Sue Miller of Casa Grande, Arizona; nine grandchildren and one on the way; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; and numerous other family members and friends.
