Services for Mr. Roland Wayne Wheeler, 71, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church, with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mr. Wheeler passed away June 17, 2022, in Tyler. He was born November 13, 1950, in Fruitvale, to Edward Lee & Hazel Earline Wheeler. Roland spent all his life in Fruitvale, where he was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church. He retired from Tesco Technology, after over 40 years in the oil field. He was also a diesel mechanic for many years. Roland was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Earline Lee Wheeler; and grandson, Casey Lenn Wheeler.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elaine Wheeler of Fruitvale; son, Justin Wayne Wheeler and wife Amy Lee of Broaddus; three daughters, Amy Wheeler of Fruitvale, Stephanie Weisinger and husband Josh of Van, and Caressa Corley and husband Bobby of Grand Saline; twelve grandchildren, Allen Wayne Wheeler, Hannah Wheeler, Kacy Garrett, Kady Wall, Brooke Heath, Sarah Heath, Zackary Heath, Jacquline Weisinger, Jaylee Weisinger, Jeremiah Corley, Onzie Corley, and Everett Corley; six great-grandchildren, Haven, Shiloh, Aiden, Gracie, Jensen, and Axle, and one on the way; many "adopted" children and grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Allen Wayne Wheeler, Zackary Heath, Jeremiah Corley, Onzie Corley, Everett Corley, and Colton Littlejohn.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Littlejohn, Ben Koonce, Gerald Sizemore, and Eddie Alfred Stanley.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
