Obituary for Albino Chavez
Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Albino Chavez, 50, of Grand Saline, will be held 12 Noon, Monday, June 28, 2021, at St. Celestine Catholic Church, Grand Saline, with Father Victor Hernandez officiating.
Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline.
Mr. Chavez passed away June 18, 2021, in Minnesota. He was born March 1, 1971, in Jalpan de Serra, Querétaro, Mexico, to Erasto & Margarita Chavez Rubio. He moved to Texas about 25 years ago where he was a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church in Grand Saline and a painter for Classic Protective Coatings. Albino was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eduardo Chavez in 2017; and aunts & uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Hermelinda Chavez of Grand Saline; son, Leonel Chavez of Grand Saline; daughter, Anna Chavez of Grand Saline; six brothers, Germensindo Chavez of Mexico, Silvino Chavez of Hugoton, Kansas, Fernando Chavez of Mexico, Francisco Chavez of Paris, Juventino Chavez of Mexico, and Raul Trejo of Dallas; three sisters, Primitiva Chavez of Mexico, Ma Virrey Chavez of Terrell, and Dorotea Chavez of Mexico; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Francisco Chavez, Raul Trejo, Silvino Chavez, Luis Miguel Gonzalez, Agustin Loredo, Atanacio Loredo, Germensindo Chavez, and Fernando Chavez.

Rosary will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home.
