Obituary for Syble Mae Williams (Scott)

Services for Syble Mae Williams, 82, of Gun Barrel City, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2021, at Riverside Mission Church, with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams passed away April 22, 2021, in Greenville. She was born April 16, 1939, in Grand Saline, to Kirby & Evelyn Bradley Scott. She spent most of her life in Grand Saline before moving to Mabank seven years ago. She was a charter member of Riverside Mission Church in Grand Saline. Syble was preceded in death by her father, Kirby Scott; mother, Evelyn Morgan; husband, Kenneth Williams; daughter, Susan Voyles; sister, Linda K Herring; and three grandsons, Joshua Moore, Kevin Lane Strickland II, and Michael Dale Voyles.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Williams, Jr.; four daughters, Suzette Dopp of Overton, Sheree Johnson of Wills Point, Shanene Kendall (Ron) of Texarkana, and Sahrina Strickland (Kevin) of Mabank; two brothers, Jr. Scott of Grand Saline, and Sam Morgan of Sulphur Springs; three sisters, Barbara Sosa of Ft. Worth, Judy Dickerson (John) of Grand Saline, and Jackie Thompson (Bobby Joe) of Grand Saline; twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Stonn Maynard, Brian Voyles, Philip Langston, John Dickerson, Jr. Scott, and Jonathon Williams.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
