Services for Mr. Delbert Larue McKnight, 69, of Kaufman, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Elder David Camp officiating
Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mr. McKnight passed away October 28, 2020 in a Dallas hospital. He was born October 14, 1951, in Ft. Worth, to Clayton Delbert & Lula Mae Huffman McKnight. Delbert spent most of his life in Dallas before moving to Kaufman in 2002. He worked for the City of Mesquite for over 25 years and was a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church of Tundra. Mr. McKnight was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Clayton Wayne McKnight.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Gloria McKnight of Kaufman; son, Tim McKnight and wife Mayra of Garland; two daughters, Jenice Lott of Coppell and Jennifer Villanueva of Seagoville; brother, Charles McKnight of Rockwall; three sisters, Norma Smallwood of New Boston, Janelle McKnight & Randall Whitherspoon of Seagoville, and Patricia McKnight of Seagoville; seven grandchildren, Josh Stuart, Ashley Longoria and husband Jake, Elijah Lott, Vincent Villanueva, Justin Villanueva, Chloe McKnight, and Austin McKnight; one great-grandchild on the way, Ozzy Longoria; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Josh Stuart, Timmy McKnight, Vincent Villanueva, Chad Taylor, Delano Robinson, and Aaron Lopez.
Honorary pallbearer, Justin Villanueva.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the funeral home before services.
