Obituary for Connie Furrh (Campbell)
Services for Connie Furrh, 67, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020,at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Furrh passed away October 20, 2020, in Mineola. She was born December 1, 1952, in Grand Saline, to Thomas Glen & Norma Joann Jennings Campbell. Connie graduated from GSHS, Class of 1971. She spent most of her life in Grand Saline where she was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and had also worked at several local nursing homes as office manager. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Eugene Furrh; and son, Michael Kirk "Mikie" Furrh.
Survivors include her sisters, Patricia Ann Vaughn of Grand Saline and Melinda Kay Matlock and husband Hoby of Mineola; sisters-in-law, Shirley Ann Bogue of Van, Rosa DeLee West of Van and Lisa Mayne of Grand Saline; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Hope, Brandon Bogue, Glen Davis, Eddie Smith, Mike Peden and Herman Vess.
Memorials may be made to the Grand Saline Youth Foundation.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020, at the funeral home.
