Obituary for Kenneth Marquis
Services with Military Honors for Mr. Kenneth Marquis, 53, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home with Chris Richey officiating.
Mr. Marquis passed away September 3, 2020. He was born August 15, 1967, in Valdosta, GA, to William J. "Bill" & Mattie Selena Moxley Marquis. He served in the US Marines during Desert Storm. Kenneth was a Staff Sergeant in the Marines and had been a Federal Air Marshal for the last 19 years. He lived most of his life in Georgia before moving to Fruitvale 3 years ago. He is preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Dakoda River Marquis.
Survivors include his wife Tammy Marquis of Fruitvale; two sons, Kane Marquis of Fruitvale and Kayle Marquis and wife Alexa of Jacksonville, FL; stepchildren, Scott Ward and wife Hannah of Houston, Steven Ward and wife Amy of Edgewood and Shantel Ward of Fruitvale; six grandchildren, Kylar McKinley Marquis, Jace Michael Banks, Kayden Matthew Marquis, Gunnar White, BraeLynn Ward, and Penelope Ward; and two grandchildren on the way, Hazel Ward and baby Marquis; aunt, Ann Brickhouse; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
