Obituary for Norma June Leach (Gatlin)
Services for Norma June Gatlin Leach, 88, of Mineola are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Byron George officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Leach passed away July 30, 2020 in Mineola. She was born September 15, 1931, in Mabank, to Henry and Minnie Blackmon Gatlin. Norma had lived in Wood County since October of 1977 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Mineola. She volunteered at Richardson General for seventeen years and then at ETMC for thirty years.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Sonny Gatlin.
Survivors include her son, Joe Leach of Mineola; daughter, Cathie Smith, of Alba; two sisters, Maxine Pope of Cedar Hill and Jima Leach of Mineola; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home in Alba.
