Services for Claudine Clower Koonce, 88, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home with Kyle White, Jeremy Harrell, and Danny Milam officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Koonce passed away July 27, 2020, in Grand Saline. She was born May 15, 1932, in Grand Saline, to the late Jess and Johnsie Presswood Clower. On April 7, 1951, Claudine married Billy Koonce in Mineola. She was a life-long resident of Grand Saline. She was a member of the Grand Saline Church of Christ, the Grand Saline Study Club, a life-time member of Beta Sigma Phi, past president of the Grand Saline High School Band Boosters, active in the PTA, and an amazing Nana to her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-nine years, Billy Koonce; son, Doug Koonce of Grand Saline; daughter, Claudia Bell and husband David of Argyle; brother, Johnny Clower and wife Elouise of Grand Saline; two grandchildren, Jillian Bone and husband William and Jared Bell; one great-grandchild, Wyatt Bone; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Robert Clower, Will Bone, Ronnie Clower, Jared Bell, Casey Clower, Charlie Castleberry, and Danny Pearson.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of the Grand Saline Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
