Sherry and Family:
I worked with Bill for most of my career at Raytheon in Texas and then again in Florida due to company relocation. I can't say enough about my friend, Bill. We inferfaced both professionally and socially over the years. Bill was the epitome of the word "friend". He was willing to help anyone and everyone that was lucky enough to cross paths with him. He had a warm smile, a wonderful heart, and an infectious laugh. Over the course of many years at work, we would share breakfast and/or lunch breaks together. It was during those unguarded times that we would share lighthearted and sometimes personal insights about ourselves, and our families. I fondly called him "Uncle Bill" and he referred to me as "little brother".
Bill was crazy about his wife Sherry, daughter Angie ,and loved those grand kids! He always made those around him feel better. I'll always remember his smile, his laugh, and his commitment to being a true friend! Mark Wortham ,Raytheon Retiree

P.S.: Sherry, I shared of Bill's passing with Andy Charles (Raytheon Largo retiree) and he said:"...Bill's one of the guys that you really miss. I loved working with him".
