Obituary for John Michael Milner

John Michael Milner of Hurst, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at the age of 59. He suffered a stroke in late December of 2019 and was hospitalized until his passing. He was born September 20, 1960, in Tyler, Texas, to Roy C. Milner and Marie McFadden Milner.
He grew up in Euless, Texas, graduated from Trinity High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of North Texas. He worked in the Information Technology field most of his professional life, with the last several years being employed as an IT specialist with Bank of America Technology Center in Plano.
He was saved during a James Robinson Crusade at Birdville Stadium in Haltom City, Texas. He was baptized in the Christian faith at and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Euless.
He is preceded by his parents Roy and Marie Milner and survived by his brother, Mark Milner (Judy) of Frisco, Texas; sister, Michele Glidewell (Mike) of Alba, Texas; nephew, Marty Glidewell of Tartu, Estonia; niece, Claire Glidewell of University Park, Texas; and the children of John’s late partner Evelyn Kryska, Daniel and Rose Kryska.
The graveside only service is scheduled on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of the Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home of Alba, Texas, with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating.
Pallbearers for graveside service are Mark Milner, Gary Milner, Steve Milner, Greg Milner, Randy Milner. Honorary Pallbearer will be Marty Glidewell.
