Services for Frances Loven Fisher, 95, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Corinth Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Smith and Bro. Floyd Loven officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher passed away March 4, 2020, in Grand Saline. She was born November 10, 1924, in Myrtle Springs, to Floyd Carl & Corinne Iris Currey Loven. Frances spent most of her life in Van Zandt County where she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She loved to work puzzles and crochet. Mrs. Fisher is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren Fisher; infant son, Randal Fisher; son, Carroll Fisher; four brothers, Ollen Loven, Willis Loven, Allen Loven and Leonard Loven; and sister, Avis Thompson.
Survivors include her son, Floyd "Mack" Fisher of Grand Saline; daughter, Wanda Fisher Taylor of Grand Saline; brother, Floyd Loven Jr. of Trinidad; and sister, Faye Ann Pearson of Maypearl; five grandchildren, Pamela Hall, Patricia & Ovie Fleites, John Taylor, Shelly & Truman Woodard; and Lauren Hamm & Jimmy Strickland; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Denton, Truman Woodard, Jimmy Thompson, Tutor Fisher, Kyle Thompson and John Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Freelen, Pat Fisher, Donald Fisher and Gary Fisher.
Memorials may be made to Oakland Cemetery Fund or Corinth Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Saturday, at the church.
