Services for Jackie Copeland Nivens, 79, of Santa Fe are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Ferguson officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Interment will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery.
Jackie passed away December 28, 2019 in Webster. She was born October 31, 1940 in Grand Saline to Albert and Margaret Till Copeland. Jackie grew up in Grand Saline, graduated high school in Farmington, New Mexico, and lived the last fifty years in Santa Fe, Texas. She married Larry Gene Nivens in Dickinson on December 8, 1975. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Dean Copeland.
Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Larry Nivens of Santa Fe; sons, Brad Smith of Houston(wife Ruth) and Vance Nivens of League City; daughter, Kim Cook (husband Glen) of League City; grandchildren, Chase, Paige, Brett, Megan, Lauryn, Chase Patrick, Emily and Denise; great grandchild, Evan; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends, 1 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
