Obituary for Hazel Corley (Norris)

Services for Hazel Norris Corley, 86, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Main Street Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Pickens and Bro. David Crain officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Haven of Memories, Canton.
Mrs. Corley passed away August 4, 2019, in a Tyler hospice. She was born March 10, 1933, in Fruitvale, to Louie Cosby & Maggie Jewel Armstrong Norris. Hazel was a lifelong resident of Grand Saline. She retired from Morton Salt Co. and was a faithful member of Main Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Corley was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Jerry "Junior" Corley; her parents, mother and stepdaddy, Jewel & B.M. "Dunk" Wallace and father, Louie Norris; two stepsisters, Adel Holloway and Edna Butler; two stepbrothers, Curtis Wallace and Grady Wallace; and aunt, Mable Vanderslice and husband Tommye.
Survivors include her three sons, Tommy Corley of Grand Saline, Barry Corley of Conroe, and Larry Corley and wife Ann of Conroe; brother, Horace Wallace and wife Carolyn of Sunnyvale; sister, Reba Stone of Canton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of East Texas.
The family will receive friends 9 a.m., Thursday, at Main Street Baptist Church.
