Services for Ruth Fowler, 70, of Pittsburg are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2019, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating.
Interment will be in Starr Cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler passed away July 1, 2019 in Pittsburg. She was born August 20, 1948 to Elmer and Dorthy Garrett Brand. Ruth spent most of her life in Grand Saline before moving to Pittsburg two years ago. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell Fowler; grandson, Lane Buchanan; and two brothers, Billy Ray Brand and Larry Wayne Brand.
Survivors include two sons, Baby Boy Brand and Calvin Climer of Pittsburg; six daughters, Sharon Brand, Nancy Brand, Linda Keith of Gilmer, Tammy Juarez of Holly Lake Ranch, Judy Climer of Gilmer, and Mary Munoz of Pittsburg; one brother, Charles Brand of Mabank; three sisters, Ida Baker of Terrell, Mary Baker of Quinlan, and Betty Morgan of Grand Saline; sister-in-law, Joyce Brand of Fruitvale; sixteen grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Angel Ramirez, Mike Keith, Raymond Guzman, Jose Munoz, Tony Hernandez, Calvin Climer, and Jose Juarez.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m., at the funeral home.
