ALBA – Funeral services for Charles Ray Brown, 75, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in the chapel, with Richard Kellam officiating.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Brown passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, in Alba.
He was born October 17, 1943, in Heath, to George Levi Frances and Ocie Vida Beggs Brown. Charles married Shirley Ann Whitten on September 24, 1976, in Kaufman. They lived in Alba since 1999, after moving from Rockwall. Charles loved the outdoors and had worked for Andrews Ford of Rockwall for 37 years and also for the City of Rockwall for 10 years.
He is survived by wife, Shirley Brown of Alba; sons, Franklin Brown of McKinney and Joseph Brown and wife Dawn of Alba; daughters, Mickie Fields of Quitman and Courtney Garner and husband Chris of Point; thirteen grandchildren, Justin, Lauren, Wylie, Caiden, Hailey, Chelsie, Brittni, John, Tristen, Ethan, Sissy (Aryanne), Raylee, and Collin; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Brown, John Brown, Tristen Stout, Chris Garner, Ethan Rodriguez, Collin Garner, and Franklin Brown.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday night.
