Obituary for Kendall Bee Rife
Graveside services for Mr. Kendall Bee Rife, 59, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Creagleville Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Rife passed away May 17, 2019, at a Tyler hospital. He was born January 6, 1960, in Graham to Billy Don & Donna Kay Lackey Rife. He spent his early years in Fruitvale, 22 years in Dime Box and the last 20 years back in Fruitvale. He had 39 years of service working in the oil field with 25 of those years working for Patterson Drilling. Mr. Rife took an early retirement and devoted the last 3 years of his life taking care of his parents and the family farm. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed relaxing and having a “cold one” with Matt Davis. Mr. Rife was preceded in death by his dad, Billy Don Rife; daughter, Ashley Rife; and sister, Cindy Rife Howell.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Kay Rife of Fruitvale; son, Andy Lee Rife of Fruitvale; daughter, Keri Ethel Rife of Sanger; brother, James Clifton Rife of Fruitvale; two grandchildren, Keyonnie Barnes and Kayden Clemons; the mother of his children, Ethel Strother of Sanger; three nephews, Dennie Howell, Jacob Howell and his wife Brandy, and John Howell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dennie Howell, Jacob Howell, John Howell and Matt Davis.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
