Obituary for Judy Nell Trammell (Fuller)

MINEOLA – Funeral services for Judy Nell Fuller Trammell, 72, of Mineola, are scheduled for 12 Noon Saturday, March 16, 2019, at First Baptist Church, Mineola, with Dr. Mark Neeley and Pastor Phillip Casper officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Alba.

Mrs. Trammell passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, in Tyler.

She was born Tuesday, December 3, 1946, in Gainesville, to the late Almus Norvel “Bo” and Jessie Jewell Cranford Fuller. Judy lived most of her life in Mineola, where she served as a dedicated Sunday school teacher, Children’s Choir director, Adult Choir member, and Mission Friends leader.

As a longtime Mineola Memorial Library employee, she brought joy and inspiration to countless local children through many Story Time readings. Judy was a member at First Baptist Church, Mineola, for 47 years. For more than 30 years, she was a Nanny to numerous children and widely known as Miss Judy or Gigi.

Survivors include her son, Charley Trammell of Houston; sister, Connie Lou Fuller of Mineola; hundreds of children whose lives were touched by her grace and guiding spirit; and two granddogs, Bellabear and Sadiebear.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the church, Don Crenshaw, A.B. Jennings, Bill Self, Larry Stewart, Jim Bowker, and Jim McClenny.

Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the church.
