Obituary for Georgia Nell Roberts (Taylor)
ALBA – Funeral services for Georgia Nell Taylor Roberts, 83, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the chapel, with Bro. Byron George officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Roberts passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, in Alba.
She was born Sunday, February 23, 1936, in Alba, to the late Otis Dewey and Ethel Loree Gilbreath Taylor. Georgia married Billy Wayne Roberts and lived all of her life in Alba.
Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Sweeden of Alba; five grandchildren, Melody Eidson, Les Sweeden, Sherry Sweeden, Bryan Deel, and Melyssa Pasada; eleven great-grandchildren, Chase Eidson, Kimberly Miller, Bryton Eidson, Keith Sweeden, Justin Sweeden, Allee Sweeden, Raegan Sweeden, Peyton Deel, Maddy Deel, Crystal Deel, and Annabelle Pasada; four great-great-grandchildren, Jackson, Miles, Whiskey, and Montana; daughter-in-law, Paula Sherwood Deel of Alba; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tommy Glenn Deel; brother, Billy Joy Robinson; sister, Otta Lee Langford; and son-in-law, Jessie Sweeden.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Deel, Mike Eidson, Chase Eidson, Keith Sweeden, Justin Lorenz Sweeden, and Les Sweeden. Honorary pallbearer is Allen Lennon.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the funeral home.
