Obituary for Elvin Neal "Junior" Wyatt, Jr.
Services for Junior Wyatt, 81, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Heritage Trail Cowboy Church, Ben Wheeler, with Bro. C.R. Chapman officiating.
Interment will follow in Rodgers Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. Elvin Neal Wyatt Jr. passed away February 27, 2019, in Grand Saline. He was born March 24, 1937, in Winnsboro, to Mary Emma Duty & Elvin Neal Wyatt Sr. He graduated from Hooks High School in 1956 and served in the U.S. Army. Junior lived most of his life in the Dallas area, and the last 20 years in Fruitvale. He worked for General Motors and was a member of the Heritage Trail Cowboy Church. Junior was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eddie Neal Wyatt, Jan. 2018; sister, Carolyn Norrid; brother, Royce Wyatt; and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eddie Laverne Howard Wyatt of Fruitvale; son, Joseph Dow Wyatt and wife Crystal of Indiana; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Wyatt of Fruitvale; three grandchildren, Dayna Moncrief and husband Derek, Andrew Neal Wyatt and Emily Nicole Wyatt; one great-grandchild on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jason Howard, Kevin Norrid, Joshua Howard, Billy Williams, Samuel Adams, Albert Bennett, and Jason Bennett.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services at the church.
