Services for German “Herman” Ulises Barros Garcia, 37, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 am, Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Iglesia Bautista La Fe in Grand Saline, with Tobias Palma officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
Herman passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Terrell. He was born April 22, 1981 in Poza Rica, Veracruz Mexico to Antonio Barros Vega and Ines Garcia. Herman graduated from Grand Saline High School, Class of 2002. He worked 17 years for the Capp Ranch in Mineola and the last 6 months for J & L Utility in Edgewood. Herman was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Barros Vega; grandfather, Bruno Garcia Olarte; and grandmother, Marcelina Baez Santiago.
Survivors include his wife, Lynette Garcia of Mineola; mother, Ines Garcia of Grand Saline; two sons, Evan German Garcia of Grand Saline and Presley Bruno Garcia of Mineola; four brothers, Sergio Hernandez Garcia of Mexico City, Fortunato Olarte Garcia of Iguala, Guerrero, Antonio Olarte Garcia of Grand Saline, and Emilio Solis of Grand Saline; two sisters, Maria Isabel Garcia of Grand Saline and Alma Palma of Grand Saline; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Evan Garcia, Braiden Smith, Sammy Palma, Ciro Lopez, Richard Rivera, Emilio Solis, Hayden Wages, and Presley Garcia.
Honorary pallbearers are Fortunato Garcia, Zach Woodrum, and Casey Dunlap.
The family will receive friends, Friday, 6 pm, Iglesia Bautista La Fe.
