Betty Jean Hass Lyles

ALBA – Memorial services for Betty Jean Hass Lyles, 80, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Jim Parker and Bro. Michael Bohannan officiating.
Burial will be in Lyles Family Cemetery at Bright Star Farm, Alba, with Bro. Nick Kerry officiating.
Ms. Lyles passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at her residence in Alba.
She was born Wednesday, December 1, 1937, in Rains County, to the late Tom and Marie Harvey Hass. Betty lived most of her life in Rains County and was retired from E Systems where she traveled the world as an Electrical Electronic Assembler. She was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Scott and Yolanda Lyles of Alba; daughter, Kim and Cody Sewell of Rowlett; eleven grandchildren, Shannon and Brandi Sewell, Kacey and Henry Long, Julie and David Mitchell, Jill and Craig Schulz, Jessica and Michael Bohannan, Jared and Kristen Lyles, Grant and Breael Lyles, Cathleen Lyles, Will Lyles, Joel Lyles, and Jay Lyles; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, T.J. Hass; grandson, Judd Lyles; and great-grandchildren, William Schulz and Lenn Schulz.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Sewell, Jared Lyles, Grant Lyles, Will Lyles, Joel Lyles, Jay Lyles, Preston Gallardo, and Alex Gonzalez.
There will be no public viewing.
