Michael Gordon Parmer

EMORY – Memorial services for Michael Gordon Parmer, 56, of Emory, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Rocky Point Community Center, Emory, with Arlon Ragsdale officiating, under the direction of the family.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Parmer passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Grand Saline.
He was born June 9, 1961, in Mineola, to Gordon F. and Mozelle M. Bell Parmer. Michael lived in Rains County all of his life and worked for Old Castle, Alba. His passion was in Wildlife Rehab, specializing in Bobcats.
He is survived by his brother, Boyde and Carla Parmer of Alba; nephew, Heath and Angie Parmer of Emory; great-nephew, Keldon Parmer of Emory; great-niece, Brayla Parmer of Greenville; and uncle, Wilmer Bell of Alba.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
