Obituary for Nancy Elizabeth Davis (Johnson)

Services for Nancy Davis, 69, of Garland, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Pastor Ryan Burchett officiating.
Nancy Elizabeth Johnson Davis went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19th, 2018. She was born March 29, 1948 in Crossett, Arkansas to her parents Rubel and Ladel Sisson Johnson. Nancy graduated from Fountain Hill High School in 1966. Nancy married the love of her life Gary Wayne Davis on October 3rd of 1969. Nancy has two children that she loved very much and she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Wayne Johnson; and her three grandchildren, Chadd, Drew and Colby Irwin.
Survivors include her devoted loving best friend and husband Gary Wayne Davis of Garland; daughter, Lee Anne Sandy and husband Steve of Lawton, OK; son, Brant Wayne Davis and wife Teresa of Grand Saline; sister, Judy Izard and husband Ralph of Benton, Arkansas; and brother-in-law, Steve Davis of California. Nancy was blessed with 4 grandchildren, Daryl and Justin Carter, Coty Davis and Ashley Lewis; 14 great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Dacota, Briana, Kaila, Layden, Kaili, Leah, Sadie, Cam, Kace, Katelynn, Josselyn, Kain and Kaicee; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Steve Sandy, Daryl Carter, Coty Davis, Justin Carter, Jeff James and Randall Herd.
The family would like to request in lieu of flowers to please send plants, which Nancy loved, or donate to the BMA Arkansas.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
