Jesse Deuson

GOLDEN – Graveside services for Jesse Deuson, 87, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Golden Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Craig Kearby officiating.
Mr. Deuson passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Saturday, December 7, 1929, in Golden, to the late Lee A. and Olive Magnolia Cave Deuson. He married Mary Rose Cave on December 3, 1983, in Dallas. Jesse served in the army during the Korean War as a paramedic. He lived in Golden the last 20 years after moving from Dallas. He worked for Walker McDonald in Greenville for 39 years in the heat treatment of drill bits. Jesse was a member of Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church, Golden.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Rose Deuson of Golden; son, Brian McCollum of Comanche; daughter, Carol and husband Billy Mansker of Alba; brother, Benny Deuson of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Brandon and Elizabeth; and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Zachary.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue Gibson Deuson; brothers, Loyd Deuson, Victor Deuson, Harold Wayne Deuson, Burt Deuson, and Floyd Deuson; sisters, Erma Humphreys and Beulah Mae Bigham; and many nieces and nephews.
