Obituary for Andy Lee Hill

ALBA – Funeral services for Andy Lee Hill, 89, of Alba, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Alba, with Rev. Danny Barrett and Bro. Craig Kearby officiating.
Burial will be in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Hill passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017, in a hospice facility in Tyler.
He was born Monday, August 1, 1927, in Sulphur Springs, to the late Robert Lee and Eva Mae Hughes Hill. He had been married to Billie Earljean Coke for 53 years when she passed away. Andy then married Irma Louise Crain on January 21, 2001. He had lived in Alba since 1988 and served in the Pacific in the Merchant Marines in WWII. He worked for Wireline Service Company and for Dresser Atlas Company in Houma, LA for 18 years as Area Training Manager. Andy was a member of the Alba United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge 1269 in Grand Saline.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Hill of Alba; daughters, Jean Hill of Houma, Louisiana, and Sherie Kelly of Elmira, N.Y.; step-son, Mike Crain of Sulphur Springs; step-daughter, Debbie Turley of Whitehouse; sister, Ruby Stone of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie Earljean Coke Hill; daughter, Karen DeFoe; brothers, Henry Leon Hill and Reginald Eugene Hill; and step-grandson, Damon Ray Crain.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
