Frederick Richard Brauer

ALBA – Funeral services for Frederick Richard Brauer, 72, of Alba, are scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Chris Horton officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Brauer passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at a Tyler hospital.
He was born Sunday, February 8, 1945, in Middletown, Connecticut, to the late William M. and Anna Dudek Brauer. He worked 40 years in the Steel Fabrication Industry and worked as a foreman for Steel Fab Inc. He lived in Avon, Connecticut, most of his life but lived in the Alba area for the last 10 years. Frederick attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Survivors include his significant other, Elizabeth Potts of Alba; son, Frederick Richard Brauer, Jr of Lindale; daughter, Michelle and husband Cliff Campbell of Alba; brother, Michael and wife Carol Brauer of Portland, CT; sister, Caroline Brauer of Middletown; and grandchildren, Hatch Campbell, Easton Campbell, Callahan Campbell, and Andrew Brauer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Margaret Mary Howard Brauer.
Pallbearers will be Mark Chacaga, Drew Brauer, Rick Brauer, David Potts, David Spindle, Kenneth Bender, and Neal Cook.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
