Jackie Pace

ALBA – Services for Jackie Sue Pace, 64, of Alba, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2017, at the Church of Christ, Alba, with Gabe Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pace passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017, in Quitman.
She was born Friday, April 25, 1952, in Gainesville, to Jack Elbert and Leta Juanell Kinslow Shugart. Jackie lived 30 years in Alba after moving from Garland. She was a waitress, an employee of the City of Alba, and CNA as a caregiver for many folks in the community. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Alba.
Survivors include her mother, Leta Juanell Shugart of Gainesville; son, Jack Bryant Hodge of Alba; daughters, Michelle & Leon Williams of Mineola and Rhoda & Matthew Hall of Quitman; brothers, Tommy Shugart of Gainesville and Roy Shugart of Gainesville; sister, Carol Ann Robertson of Gainesville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Elbert Shugart; son, Louis Blake Hodge; and grandson, Todd Leon Williams.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Haisten, Carlos Gonzalez, Jason Osborn, Terry Burns, Don Penson, and Dakota Poston.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
