ALBA – Services for Vaughn Nell Kinnamon, 83, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Alba, with Bro. John Livaudais, Bro. Mark Thompson, and Bro. Kelly Burton officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Ms. Kinnamon passed away Monday, November 28, 2016, at a Tyler hospice facility.
She was born Thursday, June 15, 1933, in Bessemer, Alabama, to the late Madge Riley. She married James R. “Bob” Kinnamon on May 29, 1954, in Missouri. Nell lived in Mesquite for 25 years and moved to Alba 26 years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Alba. Nell was a prayer warrior and touched many lives with her cards of encouragement.
Survivors include her three daughters, Donna & David Huffman of Quitman, Lisa & Doyle Cravens of Alba, and Rita & Scott Jackson of Alabaster, Alabama; brother, Wayne & Mary Salter of Bessemer, Alabama; sister, Rebecca Ann & Julius Hope of Adger, Alabama; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James R. Kinnamon; son, James Rodney Kinnamon, and brother, Samuel Ruel Salter.
Pallbearers will be Mark Thompson, Mike Humphries, Don Campbell, Scott Jackson, D.J. Rollins, and Warren Llake Rollins.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Alba, 219 E. Holley St., Alba, Texas 75410.
Family viewing will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.
