Charlie Joe Sanders, Sr.

ALBA – Services for Charlie Joe Sanders, Sr., 71, of Alba, are scheduled for Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at 10 a.m., at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, Alba, with Bro. Byron George officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Sanders passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in a Tyler hospital.
He was born Wednesday, March 28, 1945, in Wood County, to the late William Joseph and Maisy Hass Sanders. Charlie Joe was a carpenter in the construction business and lived all his life in Alba. He was a member of the Amazing Grace Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Sanders of Alba; two sons, Ricky Dale Sanders of Alba and Charlie Joe Sanders, Jr. of Alba; two daughters, Dianna Foreman of Alba and Tonya Sanders of Alba; two brothers, Billy Sanders of Golden and Rabon "Scooter" Sanders of Denton; four sisters, Linda Ann Sanders of Alba, Nadyne Taylor of Emory, Madie Ruth Reid of Mineola, and Katie Mae Thornton of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Joe Sanders; two infant granddaughters, Morgan Williams and Haven Sanders; and infant grandson, Brandon Joel Sanders.
Pallbearers will be Robert LaPlante, Joseph LaPlante, Robert Marical, and Kevin Kent.
