MINEOLA – Graveside services for Jimmie Dean Petillo, 88, of Mineola, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Golden Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Jimmy Ray Petillo officiating.
Mr. Petillo passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Wednesday, November 30, 1927, in Dardanelle, Arkansas, to the late Burley V. and Mildred V. Dean Petillo. Jimmie served in the army and lived in the Mineola area the last six years after moving from the Alba-Golden area. He retired from Mabank ISD as a Maintenance Supervisor.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Naomi Petillo of Mineola; three sons, Bobby Petillo of Wills Point, Billy Petillo of Mabank, and Danny Petillo of Golden; two step-sons, Anthony Blavier of Mineola and Aaron Blavier of Big Sandy; step-daughter, Amanda Brewster of Hughes Springs; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wanda Wyatt Petillo.
Pallbearers will be Kody Petillo, Jacob Petillo, Teddy Petillo, and Tony Martinez.
Family visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
