Obituary for Keith Thomas Blair

Keith Thomas Blair, age 76, died Monday, October 12, 2015, at his home in Alba, Texas.
Keith was born in Clovis, New Mexico, on September 17, 1939, to Marilyn and T.L. Blair. He played basketball at Clovis High School and went on to West Texas State where he played four years. He married Darla Baker in 1960 at First Baptist Church in Clovis.
He served two years in the army and was discharged as a First Lieutenant.
Keith became a member of First Baptist Church in Alba in 1984 and has served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, choir member, and church leader since that time.
Keith coached basketball, farmed and ranched, then opened Lake Fork Marina in March of 1986. He loved fishing and talking, and telling old stories more than once. One of his greatest enjoyments these last few years was reunions with his college basketball buddies. They told all kinds of stories, most of which were at least exaggerated, if not downright untrue.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathy Cornish; father-in-law, Archie Baker and brothers-in-law, Darrell and Dennis Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Darla; daughter, Dana and son-in-law, Ken Donahue of Alba; son, Del and daughter-in-law, Darla of Midlothian; grandsons, Cameron Burnett, Brady Blair and Brian Blair; great granddaughter, Savannah Burnett; brother, Lynn Blair and sister-in-law, Cindy of Clovis; mother-in-law, Mildred Baker and several nephews and nieces.
