Services for Alden Virginia Henderson Talburt, 86, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Paul Stanley officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Talburt passed away February 22, 2015, in Tyler. She was born December 23, 1928, in Griffithville, AR, to James A. & Addie Leona Ridings Henderson. She spent her early years in Griffithville, AR where she graduated from Griffithville High School in 1946. She lived in the West Texas area for many years before moving to Grand Saline in 1964. She was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church and was a nurses aide. Mrs. Talburt is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Earl Talburt; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Bob Crawford; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia & Jose Garcia of Grand Saline; son, Kenneth Talburt of Garland; four grandchildren, Kevin Talburt, Kelli & Juan Carrasco, Ashlee & Jared Reusink and Monica & Rafael Amaya; nine great-grandchildren, Noah Talburt, Jordan Dawson, Cameron Bowman, Carmen Carrasco, Adam Amaya, Caitlyn Amaya, Caleb Amaya, Konner Talburt and Amberlee Reusink; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David & Muffy Talburt of South Windsor, CT; sister-in-law, Joyce McAllister of Benton, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Clark, Dr. Richard Ingrim, Hal McMakin, Dr. Jivesh Sharma, Paul Elliott and Jason Walker.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
