Roy Crutchfield, Sr.

ALBA– Services for Roy Russell Crutchfield, Sr., 73, of Alba, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Bro. Reggie Day officiating.
Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Alba, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Crutchfield passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in a Tyler hospice facility.
He was born November 21, 1940, in Clarksville, Mississippi, to the late Wiley and Willie F. Griffin Crutchfield. He served in the Army. He moved to Alba from Carrollton in 1985 and owned and operated the Ya’ll Come Back Café in Alba for 30 years. He married Sherry Dhane on July 26, 1990, in Alba.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Crutchfield of Alba; sons, Roy Allen Crutchfield of Little Elm, and Roy Russell Crutchfield, Jr. of Alba; daughters, Teresa Sowell of Golden, Michelle Ventresca of Tyler, and LaShaina McBride of Alba; brothers, Joe Bailey of Onalaska, and Billy Crutchfield of Lewisville; 15 grandchildren and a great grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers are Wayne Dhane, David Sowell, Victor Ventresca, Michael Maier, James Snider, and Steve Snider.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2–4 p.m.
