Obituary for Billy Frank Riggle

Services for Billy Frank Riggle, 80, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Bartley Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Littlefield officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Riggle passed away March 12, 2014 in Tyler. He was born November 20, 1933 in Wood County to George and Lillie Mae Young Riggle. Billy spent his early years in Alba before moving to Grand Saline, where he has lived for the past 30 years. He married Dorthy Nell Hudgins on December 24, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Riggle retired from the railroad with 33 years of service. He was a Mason and a member of the Blue Lodge in Mineola, a 32nd Degree member of Scottish Rite in Dallas, a member of the Shriner’s of Tyler, and also a member of the United Transportation Union. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tiny Riggle and Joe Riggle; two sisters, Glenda Anderson and Wanda Kirkland; one granddaughter, Malena Spencer; and two grandsons, Brian Riggle and Matthew Riggle
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorthy Riggle of Grand Saline; one son, Kurtis Riggle and wife Sandy of Chandler; one daughter, Vickie Riggle of Grand Saline; two brothers, Jr. Riggle of Arlington and John Riggle and wife Barbara of Tyler; one sister, Doris Coppinger and husband James of Waxahachie; three grandchildren, Amanda Kindle and husband Kerry, Chuck Riggle and Tori Epperson and husband Clay; seven great-grandchildren, Lil D, Aryonna, Mason, Lilly ,Corley, Aubree, and Aydan ; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Phillips, Kerry Phillips, Lanny Dean Hudgins, Ronnie Riggle, Randel Krumdieck, and Eric Riggle.
The family will receive friend 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at the funeral home.
