MINEOLA – Graveside services for Cynthia Dinese “Cindy” Nash, 60, of Mineola, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Cedars Memorial Gardens, Mineola, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. David Bethel officiating.
Mrs. Nash passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, in a Tyler hospital.
She was born April 30, 1953, in Houston, to the late Robert and Dorothy Christine Tew Barton. She married Michael Nash on March 17, 1976, in Waxahachie, and had lived in the Mineola area for 35 years. She was a godly woman, a homemaker, a med aide, and a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Mineola, where she sang and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She always kept her children in church. She was the administrator of Apostolic Friends Forum.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Nash of Mineola; sons and daughters-in-law, Darin Barton of Kalispell, Montana, Perry and Kelli Nash of Mineola, and Robert and Margo Nash of Mexia; daughters and son-in-law, Rosa Stewart of Athens, Christene and Shawn Fortenberry of Gladewater, and April Nash of Lindale; brother, Bobby Barton and wife Kay of Hoonah, Alaska; sister, Debbie McDonald of Mineola; and 13 grandchildren, Victoria Nash, Jacob Nash, Amelia Nash, Thomas Nash, Joshua Landon Nash, Michael Stewart, Jordan Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Elizabeth Fortenberry, Nathan Fortenberry, Austin Nash, Aiden Nash, and Autumn Murphy..
She was preceded in death by her parents; infants, Amelia Nicole Nash, and John Michael Nash,
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
