Obituary for Hazel Morgan Wheeler

Services for Hazel Morgan Wheeler, 92, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Homer Morgan and Bro. Mark Hansen officiating.
Interment will follow in Creagleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Wheeler passed away March 28, 2019, in Quitman. She was born December 28, 1926, in Rains Co. to Homer & Mable Christopher Morgan. She lived all her life in Fruitvale and Grand Saline where she was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church. She worked as a CNA at Anderson Nursing Center and Cozby-Germany Hospital for many years. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Lee "Fats" Wheeler; daughter, Earline Lee Wheeler; three brothers, Ovilee Morgan, Roy Morgan and Jessie Morgan; two sisters, Violet "Koot" Woodrum and Jean Daughtery; two grandchildren, Lisa Yant and Penny Wise; three great-grandchildren, Harold "Skeeter" Meroney, Austin Boyles and Casey Wheeler; and great-great-grandson, Matthew Meroney.
Survivors include her son, Roland Wheeler and wife Elaine of Fruitvale; sisters, Homma Lou Lovett of Grand Saline, Pauline and Billy Wayne Smith of Fruitvale; and Lurilla Stanley of Grand Saline; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Bolin, Josh Weisinger, Allen Wheeler, Zackary Heath, Jeremiah Corley, Eddie Paul Stanley and Gary Stanley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Onzie Corley, Justin Wheeler, Brandon Eichel, Jonathan Hansen, Rickey Boyles, Calvin Love, James Wheeler, BJ Wise, Jacob Martin, Aaron Bolin, Everett Corley, Bobby Corley and Jonathan Boyles.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at Bartley Funeral Home.
